In the 3rd minute Cesinha Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Luiz Fernando Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Alcantil's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cesinha Amaral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sandrinho Vander's late challenge caught a Pé Frio F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandrinho Vander helped the player get up and apologised. Cesinha Amaral struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Guto de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pé Frio F.C.. Zé Pedro Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Neves having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Pedro Azevedo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adilson Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Pé Frio F.C. booed when Alcantil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cesinha Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes, Luiz Fernando Albuquerque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcantil and the Pé Frio F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luiz Fernando Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Guto de Lara was a little too slow when Cesinha Amaral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, Pé Frio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mário Barral came free, but Adilson Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zé Pedro Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes, Faustão Vaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pé Frio F.C. and the Alcantil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Faustão Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pé Frio F.C.'s Cesinha Amaral managed to work through Alcantil's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cesinha Amaral dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Caio Sarmento scored 3-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guto de Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guto de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Sarmento in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pé Frio F.C.'s goalkeeper Adilson Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pé Frio F.C.'s Adilson Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Azevedo in the 76th minute of play. If Cesinha Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cesinha Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guto de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adilson Neves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vânderson Correia. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alcantil's goalkeeper Guto de Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Alcantil's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Sarmento came free, but Guto de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pé Frio F.C. had won after a very even match.
