Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sílvio Mesquita made the kick off which started today's match. Geolandia's Enrique Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Netto in the 3rd minute of play. Oscar Pernambucano came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Geolandia's Sílvio Mesquita. But to his dismay, Sílvio Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Emanuel França's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Salles was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Geolandia's Vitório Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geolandia's Enrique Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel França in the 13th minute of play. Oscar Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match, Jerônimo Netto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enrique Salles was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Geolandia's zone, Emanuel França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Salles came out of the goal and Emanuel França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Geolandia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jerônimo Netto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Dairel booed when Geolandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Vitório Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerônimo Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Enrique Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel França blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Salles having to make a save. Oscar Pernambucano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Mesquita in the 47th minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel França stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oscar Pernambucano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitório Alvarenga in the 52nd minute. Emanuel França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joélson Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Vitório Alvarenga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Oscar Pernambucano made a huge save. Vitório Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sílvio Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Salles came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Dairel's Jerônimo Netto. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Netto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Emanuel França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Geolandia's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel França came free, but Enrique Salles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Dairel's goalkeeper Oscar Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitório Alvarenga. Jerônimo Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Enrique Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
