Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Luisinho Salles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TASTY FC and the Sassafraz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Luisinho Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Salgado having to interfere. Elias Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Hudson Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sassafraz's Natã Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Elias Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elias Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hudson Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Quintal in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Quintal in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hudson Salgado saved TASTY FC from getting behind. Natã Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hudson Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hudson Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Quintal in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Fernandão Simões notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of TASTY FC's Hudson Salgado. Hudson Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. TASTY FC's Hudson Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Quintal in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Fernandão Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TASTY FC's Hudson Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes, Elias Quintal made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. TASTY FC's Hudson Salgado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sassafraz's Elias Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Natã Rezende fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Elias Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Edinho de Barros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TASTY FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sassafraz the free kick. After 45 played minutes TASTY FC got a freekick which was hit by Edinho de Barros. In the 46th minute of the match Deivid Toscano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hudson Salgado skillfully saved the ball. If Elias Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elias Quintal made a kick off. In the 55th minute Elias Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deivid Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Salgado having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Elias Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sassafraz's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hudson Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute Elias Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Márcio Lago came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Sassafraz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio Lago couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Quintal in the 73rd minute of play forced TASTY FC's goalkeeper Hudson Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edinho de Barros was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of TASTY FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sassafraz:s goal. Deivid Toscano walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Elias Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Sassafraz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Quintal couldn't finish the play. Sassafraz's Márcio Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Elias Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sassafraz's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hudson Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sassafraz. TASTY FC's Hudson Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Quintal in the 98th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sassafraz fully deserved thier win.
