Doni Tasso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Douglas Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Pranchao's Carlos Augusto Madureira got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Doni Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Gerson Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Douglas Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pranchao's Doni Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Romero in the 38th minute of play. The long shot by Jano de Queiroz in the 41st minute really tested Alexandre Secco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Patrick de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alexandre Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bocaja's zone, Otávio Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Secco came out of the goal and Otávio Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Otávio Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Tasso having to interfere. After the first half Bocaja were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Otávio Madureira made a kick off. Doni Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pranchao's Patrick de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fábio de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Doni Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Douglas Romero was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Bocaja's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 66th minute Otávio Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio de Toledo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Doni Tasso 69 minutes into the match. Cássio Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Patrick de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Doni Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Douglas Romero took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Doni Tasso to make any attempt to save it. Bocaja's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
