Alberto Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Maciel in the 8th minute of play forced Salvavida's goalkeeper Silvério Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvério Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Adolfo Maciel in the 11th minute of play. If Abelardo Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Adolfo Maciel scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvério Barbosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Salvavida's Cauã Rosa got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Abelardo Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olarias's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Souto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvério Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the game, Olarias's João Adolfo Maciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvério Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Silvério Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Souto in the 27th minute of the match. Abelardo Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvério Barbosa having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Salvavida's Inácio Leme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Gustavo Prata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Inácio Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Corrêa got free with Luís Gustavo Prata in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enéas de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

When Salvavida's Alberto Corrêa in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olarias's goalie prevented a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Salvavida's goal looked a bit too open when João Adolfo Maciel came free, but Silvério Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvério Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Adolfo Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. João Adolfo Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, Olarias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Luís Gustavo Prata came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Salvavida's Alberto Corrêa. But to his dismay, Alberto Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Leme in the 70th minute of play forced Olarias's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Alberto Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olarias's Luís Gustavo Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salvavida's Tiago Gabriel Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inácio Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Prata having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Prata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Corrêa's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Alberto Corrêa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo Prata was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Inácio Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Prata having to interfere. Valdir Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Salvavida were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Olarias to leave the ground with a draw.
