Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jonas Nascimento kicked off to start the match. Ana maria's Miguel Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Nascimento in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Jonas Nascimento dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Esteves, 1-0. Hernani Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Peres in the 12th minute of play. Júlio Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes, Luís Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ABA SOCCER CLUB and the Ana maria players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luís Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Décio Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Guimarães having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Robinho Neiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernani Guimarães. ABA SOCCER CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robinho Neiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The Ana maria fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Ana maria's Júlio Peres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Júlio Peres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernani Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Jonas Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Décio Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Guimarães having to interfere. Hernani Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Moura in the 38th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Júlio Peres made a precise shot to the right of Hernani Guimarães. ABA SOCCER CLUB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Décio Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Júlio Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ana maria's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernani Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ana maria's Júlio Peres came free and shot a quick shot against goal 58 minutes in the game, fortunately Hernani Guimarães had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Miguel Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Nascimento in the 60th minute of play. During the 60th minute of the match Luís Andrade completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luís Andrade a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 61 played minutes ABA SOCCER CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Luís Andrade. With a little luck, ABA SOCCER CLUB's Hernani Guimarães got control of the ball when Júlio Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Ana maria's Décio Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernani Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Ana maria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Moraes to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, ABA SOCCER CLUB's Kauan Dracena tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Júlio Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, ABA SOCCER CLUB's goalkeeper Hernani Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Peres. If Júlio Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, ABA SOCCER CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Moura came free, but Hernani Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Décio Moura reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hernani Guimarães. The goal made the score 2-4. In the 90th minute Décio Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ana maria's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
