Luís Fabiano Rezende charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Fabiano Rezende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Arrojado F.C getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Rezende hit a great ball. Cosmos Internacional Club's Nando Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Queiroz in the 9th minute of play. Nando Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Nando Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Queiroz in the 15th minute of the match. Walmyr Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Nando Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Michel Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walmyr Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Arrojado F.C's Walmyr Miranda got a free kick in the 24th minute. Tiago Gabriel Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fabiano Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Walmyr Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Queiroz in the 31st minute of play forced Cosmos Internacional Club's goalkeeper Nando Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Róbson Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosmos Internacional Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Róbson Magalhães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Queiroz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Arrojado F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 45 minutes Cosmos Internacional Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evaristo Schmidt who took care of the corner kick. Evaristo Schmidt made a great header on Arrojado F.C's corner, it was just that Cosmos Internacional Club's Nando Ramos managed to reach the ball for a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michel Queiroz to make the kick off. Tiago Gabriel Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Esteves in the 52nd minute of play. Nando Ramos came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Arrojado F.C's Michel Queiroz. But to his dismay, Michel Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tiago Gabriel Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Esteves in the 61st minute of the match. If Celsinho Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arrojado F.C's Tiago Gabriel Saldanha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Arrojado F.C from getting a goal against them. Walmyr Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luís Fabiano Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Wilton Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Ramos having to interfere. With his leg Tiago Gabriel Saldanha managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Cosmos Internacional Club's Róbson Magalhães fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
