After 48 played minutes, Olarias's Samuca Mello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nestor Sergipano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olarias reached it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Adolfo Maciel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, César Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Riberalta's zone, Abelardo Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Sergipano came out of the goal and Abelardo Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Olarias's Nestor Sergipano threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from João Adolfo Maciel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 80 minutes of play, Riberalta's Tostão Gomes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Gustavo Prata was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abelardo Souto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Nestor Sergipano made a huge save. Víktor Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Prata having to interfere. Riberalta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
