Hernani Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jota P Assis. Jota P Assis's Thiago Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Betinho de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute of the match Gabriel Maia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hernani Guimarães showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Hugo Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernani Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Tavares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
