Augusto Valle's late challenge caught a Sarare's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Valle helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sarare booed when ABA SOCCER CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giovani Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Nascimento in the 8th minute of the match. ABA SOCCER CLUB's Jonas Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to ABA SOCCER CLUB getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Augusto Valle hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Alexsandro Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. ABA SOCCER CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexsandro Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovani Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hernani Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Giovani Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Rossi in the 21st minute of the match. Dorian Bertassi struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Hernani Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarare. Sarare's Giovani Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Rossi in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, ABA SOCCER CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Matorin to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Sarare's Dorian Bertassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernani Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexsandro Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Giovani Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Nascimento in the 58th minute of play forced Sarare's goalkeeper Giovani Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cido Diniz hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Sarare's Ronaldinho de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cido Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Alexsandro Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ronaldinho de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernani Guimarães having to interfere.
