Luís Gustavo Prata had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Hugo Tavares's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Oséas Couto's late challenge caught a Olarias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oséas Couto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Olarias booed when Jota P Assis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes, Olarias's Samuca Mello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Betão Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
