Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Natanael Messias made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, Sarare's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Freire came free, but Giovani Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sarare's Giovani Arruda got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Sarare's Júlio Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Lira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Luiz Fabiano Branco made a precise shot to the right of Giovani Arruda. Sarare's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sarare's Giovani Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Cerezo in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Sarare getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dorian Bertassi hit a great ball. In the 30th match minute, Sarare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Júlio Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fabiano Branco came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Giovani Arruda could save by the left post. In the 34th play minute Baltazar Azevedo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Giovani Arruda. 2-0. Ronaldinho de Sousa hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Norberto Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovani Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Pombal in the 46th minute of the match. If Luiz Fabiano Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cléberson Pombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovani Arruda having to make a save. Luiz Fabiano Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cléberson Pombal made a kick off. The supporters of Mamanos Football Club booed when Sarare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giovani Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Mamanos Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Ronaldinho de Sousa in the 63rd minute really tested Ronaldo Lira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Sarare's Alberto Pernambucano got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Natanael Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovani Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Azevedo in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Sarare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Abraão to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Luiz Fabiano Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovani Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Júlio Torres came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Sarare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Torres couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarare players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mamanos Football Club.
