The audience was convinced that Hugo Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dedê Ribeiro was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Dedê Ribeiro was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Thiago Vides capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thiago Vides really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dráuzio Loyola got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hugo Recife. Deivid Vaz made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Jota P Assis's Thiago Vides. Futebol Club Desportivo's Dedê Ribeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Futebol Club Desportivo from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Arlindo de Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futebol Club Desportivo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Thiago Vides could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Dedê Ribeiro made a huge save. Dedê Ribeiro made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Serginho Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. Dedê Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Vides in the 51st minute of the match. After 52 played minutes, Jota P Assis's Jaime Netto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dedê Ribeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jota P Assis reached it. 54 minutes into the game, Jota P Assis's Thiago Vides nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dedê Ribeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After a rather tough play, Jota P Assis's Thiago Vides got a free kick in the 70th minute. Arlindo de Lima kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Jota P Assis's keeper Betão Mendonça was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 78th minute Thiago Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Deivid Vaz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Betão Mendonça. The goal made the score 6-2. Betão Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo de Lima in the 83rd minute of play.
