In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fairy Tail's goalkeeper Fabrício Valadares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabrício Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luís Fernando Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Clube Oriente Petroleiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fernando Oliveira couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Clube Oriente Petroleiro booed when Fairy Tail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clube Oriente Petroleiro's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
