A very good chance. Danilo das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Hera Fenix's zone, Laerte Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo das Neves came out of the goal and Laerte Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. One of Nova Hera Fenix:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sovietes Futebol Clube:s goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Laerte Dracena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nova Hera Fenix's Danilo das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Mateus Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Nova Hera Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateus Jacinto couldn't finish the play. Zhang Fan Yong was a little too slow when Telmo Bastos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Telmo Bastos made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Laerte Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Nova Hera Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Pires to maneuver through the defense. Danilo das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Dracena in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Norberto Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laerte Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Danilo das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo das Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norberto Bezerra in the 70th minute. If Laerte Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Nova Hera Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Danilo das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Dracena in the 80th minute of the match. Sovietes Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Nova Hera Fenix's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jefferson Porto took the corner. The corner ended in Laerte Dracena almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nova Hera Fenix's Danilo das Neves did a great save. Danilo das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Dracena in the 85th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Fred Donatello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laerte Dracena in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Sovietes Futebol Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nova Hera Fenix throughout the match.
