The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Régis Couto during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes Brocas Marinhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Couto. After 10 minutes of play, Brocas Marinhas FC's Diego Paiva made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oswaldo Cardozo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute Lino do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Paulo Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeca Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st match minute, Pezzato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Nunes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Brocas Marinhas FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Aníbal Prado hit a great ball. Zeca Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Paulo Abraão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeca Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Paiva came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oswaldo Cardozo could save by the left post. Oswaldo Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Oswaldo Cardozo made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino do Vale in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Paulo Abraão saved Brocas Marinhas FC from getting behind. Oswaldo Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Duarte in the 42nd minute of play. Pezzato FC's Oswaldo Cardozo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Pezzato FC from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the match, Pezzato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Duarte came free, but Oswaldo Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, Pezzato FC's Dorian Abraão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Abraão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pezzato FC reached it. Luiz Paulo Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca Fernandes in the 57th minute of play. Luiz Paulo Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Alcântara in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Diego Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Oswaldo Cardozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zeca Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The supporters of Pezzato FC booed when Brocas Marinhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Paiva took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oswaldo Cardozo. Oswaldo Cardozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 86 minutes of play, Brocas Marinhas FC's Diego Paiva made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oswaldo Cardozo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Pezzato FC's zone, Norberto Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswaldo Cardozo came out of the goal and Norberto Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brocas Marinhas FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pezzato FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
