After having played for 3 minutes, Adriano Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Oriente Petroleiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inácio Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Moisés Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fernando Oliveira in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio de Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Mattos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moisés Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Moisés Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Mattos in the 24th minute of play. Inácio Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Motta having to interfere. Inácio Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clube Oriente Petroleiro's Moisés Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Tróia in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Holiod FC's Gugu Bueno got a free kick in the 38th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 40th minute, when Clube Oriente Petroleiro's Ismael de Lara after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Eusébio de Godoi in Holiod FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. If Adriano Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Holiod FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fernando Oliveira came free, but Eusébio de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Mattos to strike the kick off in the second half. Holiod FC's Marco Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Holiod FC's Inácio Tróia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moisés Motta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Clube Oriente Petroleiro's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Mattos came free, but Moisés Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Inácio Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Holiod FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Tróia couldn't finish the play. After 68th play minutes Inácio Tróia shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Moisés Motta and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Mattos in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moisés Motta saved Clube Oriente Petroleiro from getting behind. Marco Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Motta having to interfere. Clube Oriente Petroleiro's Moisés Motta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Oriente Petroleiro from getting a goal against them. If Jean Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Jean Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Oliveira in the 85th minute of play. Moisés Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fernando Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Eusébio de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Oriente Petroleiro. Holiod FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
