Luís Paulo Martins who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Luiz Paulo Abraão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Esteves in the 17th minute of play forced Brocas Marinhas FC's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cleiton Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Camocochico's Egídio Esteves fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Camocochico's Cleiton Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Duarte in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute Egídio Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Paulo Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Luís Paulo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Camocochico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egídio Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Paulo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Egídio Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Paulo Abraão. Brocas Marinhas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 89th minute of the match Rubinho Sena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cleiton Matos skillfully saved the ball. Diego Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Cleiton Matos made a huge save. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brocas Marinhas FC's goalkeeper Luiz Paulo Abraão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
