Spectators: 6868 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marco Mattos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jefferson Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute, Inácio Tróia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Holiod FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jefferson Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Perivaldo Vieira went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the game, Marco Mattos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jefferson Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Mattos in the 24th minute of play forced ZÜÖ ÖÜZ's goalkeeper Jefferson Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jefferson Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inácio Tróia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jefferson Fonseca having to make a save. The supporters of Holiod FC booed when ZÜÖ ÖÜZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Otávio Galvão was the one to do the kick off. Marco Mattos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Jefferson Fonseca 55 minutes into the match. Jefferson Fonseca came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Holiod FC's Inácio Tróia. But to his dismay, Inácio Tróia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Perivaldo Vieira's late challenge caught a ZÜÖ ÖÜZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perivaldo Vieira helped the player get up and apologised. Otávio Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inácio Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Fonseca having to interfere. If Jânio Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Caio Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, ZÜÖ ÖÜZ's Jefferson Fonseca got control of the ball when Inácio Tróia tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Holiod FC's Marco Mattos in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ZÜÖ ÖÜZ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute, Otávio Galvão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusébio de Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Holiod FC's Eusébio de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Galvão in the 87th minute of play. Holiod FC's Marco Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marco Mattos came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Holiod FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Mattos couldn't finish the play. If Marco Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 99 minutes into the match, Holiod FC's Marco Mattos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jefferson Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Holiod FC played a much better game than ZÜÖ ÖÜZ and deserved their victory. The ZÜÖ ÖÜZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
