After 34 played minutes Guarimazinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo das Neves. Kléber Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Arce's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. If Eliseu Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Laranjeiras FC's goalkeeper Allan Marinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Norberto Severo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Allan Marinho. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristóvão Arce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Agostinho Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laranjeiras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Agostinho Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléber Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristóvão Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléber Teixeira having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Cristóvão Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Eliseu Félix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Marinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Eliseu Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Allan Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guarimazinho AD's goalkeeper Kléber Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Guarimazinho AD's Kléber Teixeira got control of the ball when Agostinho Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Allan Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Norberto Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Laranjeiras FC's zone, Eliseu Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Marinho came out of the goal and Eliseu Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guarimazinho AD had won after a very even match.
