Lauro Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dudu Carioca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After 19 played minutes MDP Team got a freekick which was hit by Léo Arruda. 25 minutes into the match, Gilberto Oliveira notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of C.A JUVENTUS's Ronaldinho Custódio. Ronaldinho Custódio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Adriano Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A JUVENTUS's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dudu Carioca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, MDP Team's Valdir Pimenta got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Artur Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Adriano Fantini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Dudu Carioca made a huge save. Ronaldinho Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Lauro Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Carioca having to interfere. When Adriano Fantini came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the C.A JUVENTUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Fantini couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Lauro Arantes made the kick off in the second half. When Gilberto Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the MDP Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Jailson da Silva's late challenge caught a MDP Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jailson da Silva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Gilberto Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseu Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Oliveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ronaldinho Custódio made a huge save. In the 74th minute Dinei Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of MDP Team booed when C.A JUVENTUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinei Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The C.A JUVENTUS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MDP Team's performance. The match ended with a win for MDP Team.
