Wiliam Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. José Augusto Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When João Carlos Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jokker Team's protests and gave João Carlos Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jokker Team getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. João Carlos Corrêa hit a great ball. Adilson Pires might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Augusto Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adilson Pires ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg José Augusto Dantas managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Arvores's Cleiton Vieira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Moura in the 38th minute of play forced Jokker Team's goalkeeper José Augusto Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adilson Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes Jokker Team got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Cruz. If Adilson Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. Cleiton Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
