After having played for 16 minutes, Wiliam Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arvores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arvores's Osvaldo Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Rosa in the 21st minute of play. Wiliam Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Sena having to interfere. Nando Carioca charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nando Carioca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nando Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Cleiton Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arvores's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleiton Vieira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Cleiton Vieira put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aírton Sena. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cleiton Vieira to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Estrella Suiza's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Moura came free, but Aírton Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmo Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Pires in the 58th minute of play forced Estrella Suiza's goalkeeper Aírton Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Cleiton Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrella Suiza's Aírton Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Wiliam Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arvores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Wiliam Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiliam Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cleiton Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Estrella Suiza getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Orlando Meira hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Arvores fully deserved thier win.
