Hybrius FC's Carlos Eduardo Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Couto in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Hybrius FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Washington de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Túlio Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gugu Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Genílson Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Washington de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gugu Velloso in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genílson Ribeiro saved EspartaFC from getting behind. After 32 minutes of play, Hybrius FC's Gugu Velloso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genílson Ribeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Túlio Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Túlio Couto to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Hybrius FC got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Alvarenga. Washington de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, EspartaFC's Ronaldinho do Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Eduardo Loureiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Eduardo Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho do Nascimento in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, EspartaFC's Rubens Paraibano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Eduardo Loureiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Genílson Ribeiro was a little too slow when Gugu Velloso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Washington de Moraes in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genílson Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hybrius FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
