After having played for 12 minutes, Nando Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olé Brasil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nando Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palmeiras Tem Mundial's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Despite this Percy Mazza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 15 minutes, Waldir Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmeiras Tem Mundial and the Olé Brasil FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras Tem Mundial's Waldir Pernambucano got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jailson Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldinho Bueno was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Pascual Litago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Quintal in the 32nd minute of play. Fabiano Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Nando Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percy Mazza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jailson Barreto was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute of the match, Waldir Pernambucano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pascual Litago was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Olé Brasil FC's Alberto Leão got a free kick in the 65th minute. Olé Brasil FC's Ronaldinho Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 minutes of play, Olé Brasil FC's Nando Cruz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Quintal in the 73rd minute of play forced Olé Brasil FC's goalkeeper Pascual Litago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Litago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Palmeiras Tem Mundial's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Cruz came free, but Percy Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes Palmeiras Tem Mundial got a freekick which was hit by Wágner de Medeiros. 2-1 became the score in the 85th minute when Ronaldinho Bueno elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olé Brasil FC's goalkeeper Pascual Litago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Olé Brasil FC's Nando Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Percy Mazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Percy Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Leão in the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Olé Brasil FC fully deserved thier win.
