Pascual Litago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jailson Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Vaz having to interfere. If Jailson Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Alberto Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 36 minutes, Rubinho Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mundurucus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubinho Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Olé Brasil FC! When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Mundurucus FC's Enio Couto got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pascual Litago. Enio Couto's shot from long distance in the 44th minute was not bad at all, but Olé Brasil FC's Pascual Litago knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nando Cruz made the kick off in the second half. Toninho Vaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldinho Bueno went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ronaldinho Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olé Brasil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldinho Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Mineiro in the 81st minute of play forced Olé Brasil FC's goalkeeper Pascual Litago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toninho Vaz made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ronaldinho Bueno sent off a good shot on target. Nando Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Vaz having to interfere. Mundurucus FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Olé Brasil FC had controlled the match.
