The supporters of EspartaFC booed when Time da Piraporinha F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. EspartaFC's Genílson Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás de Barros in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Tomás de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Time da Piraporinha F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genílson Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás de Barros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
