Celso Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeu Urbano hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Celso Valle put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Elói Cruz. After a rather tough play, Power Escanor FC's Marcinho Albuquerque got a free kick in the 18th minute. Elói Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Valle in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Power Escanor FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alexsandro Maranhense hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Celso Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeu Urbano during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Time da Piraporinha F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Urbano to maneuver through the defense. Celso Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Elói Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Time da Piraporinha F.C's Patrick Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristóvão Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Time da Piraporinha F.C got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Peixoto. In the 57thth minute of the game Celso Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Time da Piraporinha F.C's Elói Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Time da Piraporinha F.C's Tomás de Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celso Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elói Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celso Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexandre Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexandre Reis hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Time da Piraporinha F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Valle came free, but Elói Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristóvão Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás de Barros in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Valle in the 81st minute of play forced Time da Piraporinha F.C's goalkeeper Elói Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Valle in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elói Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcinho Albuquerque got free with Elói Cruz in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute Patrick Favoretto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristóvão Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Power Escanor FC's Alexsandro Maranhense got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Tomás de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomás de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Time da Piraporinha F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Power Escanor FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
