Murillo Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murillo Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Ladio in the 13th minute of the match. If Filipe Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Gernando Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pindamonhangaba SP's Murillo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ladio in the 22nd minute of play. Baltazar Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Cléber Ramalhos short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Ian Abbott to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percy Martins in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murillo Barreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Pindamonhangaba SP's zone, Sergio Ladio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Barreto came out of the goal and Sergio Ladio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pindamonhangaba SP's Murillo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ladio in the 41st minute of play. The Noviscky fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Noviscky's Percy Martins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Percy Martins was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percy Martins in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murillo Barreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cléber Ramalho hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Murillo Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Ladio in the 56th minute. Filipe Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ian Abbott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murillo Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Percy Martins's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Pindamonhangaba SP's goalkeeper Murillo Barreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Ladio. When Fabinho Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Noviscky's protests and gave Fabinho Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Noviscky got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Ramos. Ian Abbott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percy Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Barreto having to interfere. If Fabinho Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Noviscky's Percy Martins fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Murillo Barreto was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Pindamonhangaba SP's Murillo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy Martins in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pindamonhangaba SP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Braedan Frew was slow to take the kick. During this time Noviscky's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Braedan Frew got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Murillo Barreto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A hard shot 91 in the game by Sergio Ladio from a close distance when the talented Murillo Barreto managed to make a qualified save. Pindamonhangaba SP's players were relieved. After 93 played minutes Percy Martins rounded Pindamonhangaba SP's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Noviscky played a much better game than Pindamonhangaba SP and deserved their victory. The Pindamonhangaba SP players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
