After some careless play in the Cass FC defense, Breno de Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sílvio Luís Ribeiro. The Cass FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sílvio Luís Ribeiro should have stopped the shot. In the 44th match minute, Faca na Caveira FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Eger to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Fernando Brodel took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Alberto Vidal to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Fernando Brodel made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Brodel in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Cass FC got a corner. Faca na Caveira FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adriano Damião ran over to the corner to take the kick. Breno de Sena let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 60th minute shot 2-2 at rihgt post. After a defensive mix-up in Cass FC's zone, Alexandre Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luís Ribeiro came out of the goal and Alexandre Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cass FC's Júlio Carvalho got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 71st minute, Breno de Sena made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Luís Ribeiro. Cass FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cass FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Caetano Eger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Luís Ribeiro having to make a save. Sílvio Luís Ribeiro made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Caetano Eger sent off a good shot on target.
