Kauan Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sérgio Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zézinho Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Igor Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmílson Cerezo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nacional Futebol Clube's Igor Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Vaz in the 45th minute of play. Igor Araújo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sérgio Rocha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sérgio Rocha made a kick off. In the 92nd minute, Jeremias Vaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celthicos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Nacional Futebol Clube's Chico Leão shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kauan Faria but with some difficulty. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Celthicos fully deserved thier win.
