With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Rezende in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Francisco Baiano saved BARCELONA F.C from getting behind. Gabriel Pirani might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Francisco Baiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Pirani ran back to his position shaking his head. Beto Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuca Rezende scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Francisco Baiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Samuca Rezende notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of BARCELONA F.C's João Francisco Baiano. João Francisco Baiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuca Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Francisco Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A nice corner shot did that Tarcisio Tepedino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Francisco Baiano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Pocoyo FC's zone, Hélio Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmo Leal came out of the goal and Hélio Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The BARCELONA F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pocoyo FC were winning 1-2.

51 minutes into the game, Hélio Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BARCELONA F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocoyo FC the free kick. After 51 played minutes BARCELONA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Lima. Hélio Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dalmo Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pocoyo FC's Gabriel Pirani got a free kick in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the match, BARCELONA F.C's goalkeeper João Francisco Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuca Rezende. Tiago Porto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The supporters of BARCELONA F.C booed when Pocoyo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pocoyo FC's Beto Quirino got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Hélio Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuca Rezende struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. João Francisco Baiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pocoyo FC. Beto Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pocoyo FC's Beto Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute Samuca Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, BARCELONA F.C's Jorge Tavares got a free kick in the 91st minute. 96 minutes into the match, Pocoyo FC's Samuca Rezende sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Francisco Baiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pocoyo FC played a much better game than BARCELONA F.C and deserved their victory. The BARCELONA F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
