Pocoyo FC's Dalmo Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Guedes in the 3rd minute of play. Dalmo Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paulo Guedes in the 5th minute of the match. Samuca Rezende took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beto Palmeira. Beto Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Beto Palmeira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tarcisio Tepedino. 16 minutes into the match, Samuca Rezende had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beto Palmeira. Internacional Colorado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuca Rezende was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, Pocoyo FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Sabóia came free, but Dalmo Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmo Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Sabóia in the 23rd minute of play. Samuca Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Beto Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuca Rezendes short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Beto Palmeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tales Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Beto Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Rezende in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Roger Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pocoyo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Beto Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocoyo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beto Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beto Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Vítor Sabóia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Pocoyo FC's Samuca Rezende nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beto Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Beto Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If José Vítor Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes of play, Pocoyo FC's Samuca Rezende made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beto Palmeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pocoyo FC's Samuca Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Samuca Rezende cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Beto Palmeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Samuca Rezende's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beto Palmeira was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, Internacional Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Rezende came free, but Beto Palmeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beto Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pocoyo FC's Samuca Rezende in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Internacional Colorado's goalie prevented a goal. If Adrianinho Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Pocoyo FC were the better team. Pocoyo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
