Zé Pedro Netto's late challenge caught a Buckeyes Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Pedro Netto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Zé Pedro Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 12 minutes, Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buckeyes Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvaldinho Severo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franklin Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buckeyes Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Franklin Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 29th minute, Osvaldinho Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Paraiso's Franklin Arantes got control of the ball when Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Paraiso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Pedro Netto to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Paraiso's Oscar Mota got a free kick in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Buckeyes Academy's Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Arantes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Dé Vianna lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Franklin Arantes. 44 minutes into the match, Paraiso's goalkeeper Franklin Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros was the one to do the kick off. José Carlos Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Zé Pedro Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Tiago Gabriel de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes, Buckeyes Academy's Iuri Berger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franklin Arantes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buckeyes Academy reached it. In the 73rd minute, Buckeyes Academy's Iuri Berger seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Iuri Berger the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Buckeyes Academy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iuri Berger had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 72nd minute, one of Buckeyes Academy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Buckeyes Academy. The referee gave Paraiso a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Oscar Mota, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Buckeyes Academy's Zé Pedro Proença. 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Paraiso's zone, Osvaldinho Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin Arantes came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Vianna in the 84th minute of play forced Paraiso's goalkeeper Franklin Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dé Vianna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franklin Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Osvaldinho Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Buckeyes Academy fully deserved thier win.
