Talentosos's João Pedro Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William de Amorim in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William de Amorim in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Pedro Godoi saved Talentosos from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Zé de Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. William de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Talentosos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William de Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The wind increased when Magno Damião made the kick off in the second half. Luís Fernando Quadros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but João Pedro Godoi made a huge save. Zé de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Pedro Godoi was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Válbson Silva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Válbson Silva really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. William de Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Pedro Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that William de Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Pedro Godoi was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
