Andrézinho Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Dorival Fantini scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juvenal Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juvenal Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Quadros in the 11th minute of the match. If Sidney Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sidney Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Juvenal Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in AC Wolves's zone, Roger Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrézinho Domingues came out of the goal and Roger Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Duda Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Wolves's protests and gave Duda Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. Duda Maranhense hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Juvenal Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes AC Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Duda Maranhense. After a defensive mix-up in AC Wolves's zone, Roger Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrézinho Domingues came out of the goal and Roger Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrézinho Domingues came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mairinque's Juvenal Carvalho. But to his dismay, Juvenal Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sidney Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Palmeira having to interfere. After 38 minutes, Benê Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mairinque and the AC Wolves players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mairinque getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Benê Marques hit a great ball. Sidney Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Juvenal Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sidney Quadros made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Roger Gaúcho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Carvalho in the 61st minute of play forced AC Wolves's goalkeeper Andrézinho Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Roger Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Quadros in the 65th minute of play. Rafael Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Mairinque's Juvenal Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Quadros in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Wolves's goalkeeper Andrézinho Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andrézinho Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Carvalho in the 77th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Juvenal Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mairinque's supporters rose to their feet, but Juvenal Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Gaúcho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 84th playminute. Duda Maranhense got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Duda Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Roger Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Domingues having to interfere.
