Ulisses Pires yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 41 minutes into the game, Roberto Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amanhece's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mairinque the free kick. A collision led to Amanhece getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Roberto Vaz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Amanhece's zone, Roger Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulisses Pires came out of the goal and Roger Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulisses Pires didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Cássio Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

In the 51st minute, Tostão Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Pimenta in the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Amanhece's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Carvalho came free, but Ulisses Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Mairinque got a corner. Amanhece's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cauã Furtado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mairinque's Cauã Furtado to fire away a dangerous shot which Ulisses Pires despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Natã Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natã Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Amanhece booed when Mairinque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Juvenal Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sidnei Capixaba struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Juvenal Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amanhece. Ulisses Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juvenal Carvalho went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Cássio Rezende charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Rezende the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Mairinque got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Rezende. 93 minutes into the game, Mairinque's Juvenal Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulisses Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Roberto Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amanhece's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Palmeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Mairinque were the better team. Mairinque's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
