Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Patrick Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho Linares hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Laerte Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinto EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laerte Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 10 played minutes Agnelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Tande. Claudinei Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio de Queirós in the 13th minute of the match. If Carlos Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laerte Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovanni Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Recife in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Carlos Arósio could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Claudinei Gaúcho however easily saved by the left post. Laerte Antunes got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Giovanni Maciel handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Laerte Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Pinto EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laerte Antunes couldn't finish the play. Laércio de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Claudinei Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes, Agnelo FC's Armandinho Lago shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudinei Gaúcho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Agnelo FC reached it. When Laerte Antunes came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pinto EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laerte Antunes couldn't finish the play. Claudinei Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Carlos Arósio sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Agnelo FC's Giovanni Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Guedes in the 52nd minute of play. Ciro França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laércio de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute, Laerte Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudinei Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio de Queirós in the 74th minute of play. Claudinei Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Agnelo FC's Laércio de Queirós. But to his dismay, Laércio de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Giovanni Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Antunes in the 84th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Giovanni Maciel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Agnelo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
