Eurico Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Rezende in the 33rd minute of play. Eurico Gerber came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Mairinque's Benê Marques. But to his dismay, Benê Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Juvenal Carvalho took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eurico Gerber. Eurico Gerber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 45 minutes into the game, Mairinque's Benê Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eurico Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juvenal Carvalho made a kick off. Eurico Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Carvalho in the 51st minute of play. Santa AD's Eurico Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Carvalho in the 53rd minute of play. Eurico Gerber made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Oséas Vergílio sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Mairinque's Cássio Rezende slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eurico Gerber. That made the score 0-9 after 89 minutes of play. In the 94th minute, Roger Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eurico Gerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10.
