Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 50) Sidney Quadros started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Dorival Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Domingues having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Sidney Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Wolves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidney Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorival Fantini got free with Arnaldo de Carvalho in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Tavares in the 9th minute of play forced AC Wolves's goalkeeper Andrézinho Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Romero hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Alcântara in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrézinho Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, Agronomia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Paiva came free, but Arnaldo de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AC Wolves's Dorival Fantini got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Kléberson Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Agronomia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléberson Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Agronomia FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victor Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Dorival Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC Wolves's Dorival Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorival Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Arnaldo de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Sidney Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Nilson Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Rafael Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrézinho Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidney Quadros struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Arnaldo de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Wolves. Arnaldo de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidney Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Sidney Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Fantini in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo de Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnaldo de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorival Fantini in the 82nd minute of play. If Kléberson Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Sidney Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agronomia FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over AC Wolves's much stronger midfield.
