Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nestor Alcântara took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 12th minute, Agronomia FC's Fernando Tavares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abelardo do Nascimento. Abelardo do Nascimento yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Agronomia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. Matías de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo de Carvalho having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías de Carvalho in the 19th minute of play forced Agronomia FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Murillo Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agronomia FC's Kléberson Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Agronomia FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Giuseppe Carvalho hit a great ball. Victor Saldanha charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Saldanha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Goiabal AD booed when Agronomia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Sabóia in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Matías de Carvalho made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Goiabal AD's Matías de Carvalho got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Fernando Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nestor Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo do Nascimento having to interfere. Matías de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Arnaldo de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Goiabal AD got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Baiano. 75 minutes into the match, Agronomia FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murillo Sabóia. Murillo Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matías de Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnaldo de Carvalho having to make a save. If Felippe Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Matías de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goiabal AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matías de Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Wiliam Varela fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goiabal AD's protests and gave Wiliam Varela a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Wiliam Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo de Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Murillo Sabóia sent off a good shot on target. If Kléberson Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Agronomia FC could leave the field as winners, despite Goiabal AD having more of the ball for most of the match.
