Matías de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Paulinho Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Virasoro fc fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Virasoro fc's Matías de Medeiros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Aílton Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Arósio in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Arósio in the 18th minute of play forced Virasoro fc's goalkeeper Angelo Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulinho Tasso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Virasoro fc's Matías de Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulinho Tasso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean de Medeiros in the 26th minute of play forced Virasoro fc's goalkeeper Angelo Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Virasoro fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of S. E. Zeviane:s goal. Virasoro fc:s Angelo Araújo showed great skill when he stopped Felipe Meirelles:s penalty. Angelo Araújo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by S. E. Zeviane's Felipe Meirelles. But to his dismay, Felipe Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean de Medeiros in the 41st minute of play forced Virasoro fc's goalkeeper Angelo Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Arósio in the 42nd minute of play. Matías de Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulinho Tasso having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Dino Batista made the kick off in the second half. Jean de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Angelo Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the S. E. Zeviane defense, Dino Batista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulinho Tasso. The S. E. Zeviane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulinho Tasso should have stopped the shot. Jean de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Araújo having to interfere. Angelo Araújo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká Arósio's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. When Kaká Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the S. E. Zeviane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Arósio couldn't finish the play. Angelo Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Arósio in the 74th minute of play. Dino Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Tasso having to interfere. Angelo Araújo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean de Medeiros in the 85th minute. A collision led to Virasoro fc getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Dieguinho de Toledo hit a great ball. Virasoro fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of S. E. Zeviane for a fine match.
