Marcelinho Cardozo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Caetano Pitta. Synthroid Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermínio Fernandez in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano Pitta prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Franklin Antunes made the kick off in the second half. Synthroid Football Club's Caetano Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio Fernandez in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Augusto Cardoso notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Synthroid Football Club's Caetano Pitta. Caetano Pitta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Acoriana's Giuseppe das Neves in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 71st minute Augusto Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Osvaldo Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei da Mata was a little too slow when Franklin Antunes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 3-2. In the 80th minute of the game, Renatinho Tepedino landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 81st match minute, Synthroid Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. The Acoriana fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Acoriana's Hermínio Fernandez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice moves Osvaldo Saldanha could shoot a difficult shot in the 98th minute, which Claudinei da Mata however easily saved by the left post.
