Tranqueira's Laércio Queirós came free and shot a quick shot against goal 18 minutes in the game, fortunately Patrick Capixaba had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Tadeu Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Capixaba having to interfere. Aílton Quirino's late challenge caught a Tranqueira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aílton Quirino helped the player get up and apologised. Ciro Rosado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Capixaba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Ciro Rosado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patrick Capixaba came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciro Rosado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. Tadeu Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Patrick Capixaba made a huge save. Jorge Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Mattos having to interfere. Arthur de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Mattos having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Tranqueira got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Vianna. In the 42nd minute, Arthur de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Mattos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Rosado to make the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Anchieta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Queirós came free, but Patrick Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anchieta SC's Patrick Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Queirós in the 67th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Ciro Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anchieta SC's Aílton Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Anchieta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Rosado came free, but Patrick Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tranqueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Capixaba having to interfere. Laércio Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
