Ediberto dos Santos in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrick Capixaba, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ediberto dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Limoeiro's Ediberto dos Santos in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anchieta SC's goalie prevented a goal. If Silvério Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anchieta SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limoeiro the free kick. Arthur de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Patrick Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto dos Santos in the 30th minute of the match. Ediberto dos Santos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Limoeiro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gino de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ediberto dos Santos didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 44th minute. Limoeiro's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ediberto dos Santos to make the kick off. Didi Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Ediberto dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Limoeiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Capixaba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 66 minutes, Ediberto dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limoeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ediberto dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ediberto dos Santos in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Capixaba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 74 minutes, Ediberto dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limoeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ediberto dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 minutes of play Anchieta SC's Arthur de Alcântara was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes into the match, Alexandre Araújo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Capixaba. Anchieta SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Araújo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 84th minute Silvério Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silvério Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anchieta SC's Didi Toledo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gino de Lara in the 89 minute of the game. Patrick Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto dos Santos in the 90th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Anchieta SC defense, Ediberto dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Capixaba. The Anchieta SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Capixaba should have stopped the shot. Patrick Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto dos Santos in the 93rd minute of play. Anchieta SC's Patrick Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto dos Santos in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Limoeiro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
