Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iuri Fantini kicked off to start the match. If Ronaldão Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute, Edmundo Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osmar Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hudson Coelho in the 11th minute of play. Ronaldão Vergílio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frederico da Fonseca came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronaldão Vergílio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. The supporters of S.C Internacional booed when Inhapi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, S.C Internacional's Tostão de Toledo tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Iuri Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldão Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osmar Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hudson Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Oscar de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C Internacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inhapi the free kick. 24 minutes into the game, one of S.C Internacional:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute of the game, Inhapi got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Iuri Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Osmar Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Iuri Fantini notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Inhapi's Osmar Souza. Osmar Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Vergílio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inhapi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C Internacional the free kick. Ronaldão Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Hudson Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Osmar Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldão Vergílio was the one to do the kick off. Inhapi's Osmar Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jailson Perez in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iuri Fantini in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osmar Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iuri Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Osmar Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ronaldão Vergílio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Inhapi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldão Vergílio couldn't finish the play. Iuri Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, S.C Internacional's Dorival Veiga got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Ronaldão Vergílio came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Inhapi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldão Vergílio couldn't finish the play. Frederico da Fonseca came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Inhapi's Ronaldão Vergílio. But to his dismay, Ronaldão Vergílio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Iuri Fantini struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Osmar Souza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C Internacional. Hudson Coelho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Osmar Souza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Inhapi's zone, Hudson Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmar Souza came out of the goal and Hudson Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, S.C Internacional's Hudson Coelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osmar Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th match minute, Inhapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, S.C Internacional's Tostão de Toledo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Inhapi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of S.C Internacional for a fine match.
