Iuri Fantini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chico Moraes having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iuri Fantini in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iuri Fantinis short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Chico Moraes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iuri Fantini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in A.Z.Z FC's zone, Iuri Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Moraes came out of the goal and Iuri Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. S.C Internacional's Iuri Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iuri Fantini in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. A hard shot by Marcos Lopes from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Frederico da Fonseca's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A.Z.Z FC's Chico Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hudson Coelho in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, S.C Internacional's Hudson Coelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chico Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 76 minutes into the match, Hudson Coelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Moraes. A.Z.Z FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hudson Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 80 minutes into the match, A.Z.Z FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iuri Fantini came free, but Chico Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iuri Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Moraes having to interfere. With a left leg Chico Moraes saved A.Z.Z FC from getting behind. Silvinho Proença hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in A.Z.Z FC's zone, Hudson Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chico Moraes came out of the goal and Hudson Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that S.C Internacional were the better team. S.C Internacional's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
