After 8 played minutes S.C Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão de Castro. Dráusio Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Zonta in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Gabriel Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Indiarana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frederico da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Marques in the 18th minute of play. Jailson Perez's late challenge caught a Indiarana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jailson Perez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to S.C Internacional getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jailson Perez hit a great ball. Eusébio Paraibano charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Paraibano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eusébio Paraibano hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. S.C Internacional's Hudson Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik Monteiro during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Belmiro Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederico da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Iuri Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Loyola having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Indiarana's Otávio Zonta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico da Fonseca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Erik Monteiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S.C Internacional's Frederico da Fonseca did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Fantini in the 54th minute of play forced Indiarana's goalkeeper Dráusio Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Indiarana's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Coelho came free, but Dráusio Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Gaspar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráusio Loyola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hudson Coelho went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.
