After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Orlando de Andrade made the kick off in the second half. Osvaldinho Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Ramos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David da Fonseca in the 62nd minute of play forced Central SC's goalkeeper Jeremias Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Orlando de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dedê Ramos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando de Andrade went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Azevedo in the 81st minute of play forced Central SC's goalkeeper Jeremias Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Central SC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hermínio Pombal hit a great ball. Jeremias Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Hamburgo were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Central SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Donato Pinheiro took the corner. Francisco Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Paranaense having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play, Hamburgo's David da Fonseca made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Paranaense was left in no man's land by his defense there! The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
