Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as PapaXota's Rubens Viana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Luiz Cruz. That made the score 0-3 after 52 minutes of play. Rubens Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Cruz having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Orlando Teixeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PapaXota fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Orlando Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. André Luiz Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PapaXota. Rubens Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but André Luiz Cruz made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Orlando Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Luiz Cruz was relentless in the 71st minute of the game.
